From: Johannesburg, Kruger National Park, Swaziland, Mozambique

Get on the N2 highway (from Pongola, Swaziland border) and at Hluhluwe (from Mozambique/Kosi Bay/Sodwana Bay). Turn left at the Mtubatuba off ramp (road sign will say St Lucia too), stop on bridge and turn left. Follow road (bumpy and potholes) and turn left at next intersection (You can only turn left). You will pass the town (on your right), you are now on the R618 to St Lucia about 25 km further.

From: Durban (King Shaka Airport), Richards Bay, Empangeni

Be on the N2 highway (north to Stanger (KwaDukuza/Pongola). From N2 at airport link on N2, now 179km to Mtubatuba R618. Take the left off ramp at the Mtubatuba road (sign also says St Lucia), and turn right under the highway. Keep straight and turn left at T-junction, go across traffic lights and turn right at the intersection (can only turn right). You will pass the town (on your right), you are now on the R618 to St Lucia about 25 km further.

AT St Lucia

Cross Lake St Lucia on the bridge and turn right at the traffic circle t-junction. This is McKenzie Street, so carry on straight through town (about 1km) to second traffic circle. Go straight across, it is a small street and a dead end. St Lucia Wilds at the end about 380m on your right.
